Rules for the 2020-2021 Residents’ Attendance Award

The award is based on resident attendance at Harris County Chapter meetings from September 2020 through April 2021.

  • Residents must RSVP by the announcement deadline for their attendance to count.
  • An RSVP followed by a no-show deducts 1 point, unless another resident from the same program attends in their place, in which case no penalty applies.
  • The scoring formula compensates for differences in program size.
  • If no program has accumulated points by the April 2021 meeting, no award will be given.
  • The $1,000 award may be used by the winning program’s residents for anything (a party, a lounge item, etc.).
  • At the May 2021 meeting, a special prize will also be given to the individual resident with the most meetings attended from September 2020 through April 2021. In the case of a tie, the prize will be given to each winner.
