Because family practitioners are trained to treat the whole person, these specialists diagnose and treat the full range of problems people bring to their doctors. They also know when to bring in another specialist. In most cases, a referral from a family doctor is not necessary to schedule an appointment with a Kelsey-Seybold specialist, but the family doctor is an important part of the multispecialty team. The family doctor coordinates care with specialty physicians and other members of a patient's care team.

At Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, you will see patients in office from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday.  Phone call about once per month, either on the weekday or a weekend day.

Qualifications include:

 Graduate of an approved training program in the United States

 Board-certified or eligible

 Licensed or willing to be licensed in the State of Texas

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 Good interpersonal skills

Practicing Medicine at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic

Our physicians practice medicine in a collaborative manner amongst many medical specialties and subspecialties embracing technology and teamwork to provide patient-centered care. Our compensation package is productivity-based and includes salary, paid time off, CME, and matching 401K. Affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Heart Institute.

Job Summary - The family medicine program at HCA Houston Healthcare West is seeking core faculty or associate program director for our 10 resident community-based program.  There are currently 2 openings:

Qualified Candidates:

* board certification in family medicine

* 2-3 years (ideally 5 years for APD position) of experience with direct patient care and teaching.

* comfort with outpatient adult medicine, outpatient pediatrics, outpatient procedures, and low risk prenatal care

* title will be commensurate with experience and be provided by our medical school affiliate, University of Houston College of Medicine
